Theresa is a senior nursing student about to graduate in May.

Goal-oriented and passionate.
WHY HEALTHCARE?
Theresa entered the healthcare field because her grandma was a nurse in Mexico. Hearing her stories about helping others really warmed her heart and gave her a special look into the field. After doing her own research on nursing and volunteering, she knew it was the right field because she really enjoy patient care, and also being an advocate for her patients and community.
CAREER GOALS + ASPIRATIONS?
Her biggest career goal and aspiration is to eventually be a nurse practitioner. Theresa wants to work for now, and figure out what she wants to specialize in, but she knows she wants to eventually go back to school and become a Nurse Practitioner. She also sees herself doing a lot of community work and volunteering, "I definitely want to continue being apart of these communities and also being an advocate for them".
OUTSIDE OF HEALTHCARE, A FEW OF YOUR FAVORITE THINGS?
She loves spending time with her dog, family, and friends. She also enjoys going to the gym and being active whenever she can. Theresa loves going out and trying new restaurants or going to new places! But through all of her hard work, she also loves being able to relax and watch Netflix shows. Who doesn't!
